| Back in Orlando, The group then gathered once a month for an informal luncheon which began to grow as attendees invited guests. Eventually the group was formalized as the International Round Table (often referred to as the IRT). It has evolved into the number one venue for international business networking in Central Florida.
The International Round Table is not a membership organization. We meet once a month, usually the first Thursday unless a holiday interferes. We meet at the University Club, the corner of Central and Rosalind in Orlando. There is a speaker, drawn from government, business, the international community and others of contemporary interest.
The IRT format consists of gathering at 11:30AM, networking until noon, a buffet luncheon followed by the speaker who makes a presentation from their field of expertise. Then every attendee gets to give a short “elevator pitch” about their business or an event with which they are connected. This is followed by more networking.
“In today’s global marketplace,” says Rachel Shipley, “we are all really engaged in the international world of business.”
Come and join our group. Connect with people who do business locally in Orlando Florida and all over the world. The International Round Table is Orlando's #1 international business networking group. |
