Trading Wise was founded some twenty five years ago as an International Marketing Company. The two founders, Rachel and Jim Shipley both have had a long history in international relations and business. They have traveled extensively and Rachel spent a year in Israel organizing the first International Jerusalem Business Conference. She also lived in China for seven months as a guest of the Chinese government to teach customer service and relations to Chinese government officials and business people. Jim’s wide experience in business, radio, television and print journalism gives him an excellent perspective on world events and how they impact business. They formed Trading Wise as a platform for their multiple business interests.
Trading Wise is designed to save their clients time and money. In dealing with overseas entities, Trading Wise helps them open the U.S. market to their products and services. The Company does a complete study of the feasibility of success in the U.S. and then, through a network of associates, provides everything from marketing to location to financing possibilities in order for the goal of the overseas entity to succeed. They are also experienced in the area of EB-5 Visas to provide foreign individuals with business and residency opportunities in the U.S. For domestic Companies desiring more of a global footprint, Trading Wise helps them develop a plan and then, through their contacts in various overseas markets – both governmental and non-governmental, guides them on a path to success.
The Basic Overseas Model
In a number of developing markets overseas, Trading Wise has a person or persons on the ground, there to act as permanent partners to guide the U.S. Company to success. The basic goal of this model is to get U.S. products and services licensed overseas with exclusive licenses, market by market to maximize the marketing opportunities and increase the ROI for the licensing entity.
